How to Become a Straight-A+ Student & Get GPA of 4.5
In this blog, I will tell you about getting a high GPA with all grades of A+. Usually, in universities, getting an A+ in every subject is a goal that is very hard to achieve unless the student is very clever, self-confident, and studies a lot. But in my opinion, it is not exactly like this because I think to get higher grades, a student doesn't have to be the smartest; he or she should have a strong sense of self-discipline and good time management skills. And the main thing that every student should keep in mind is that there is no need to study hard; one should be able to study smart.
There are some things that every student must do in order to become a Straight-A+
student. These are the main habits that I follow. Student should:
• Never
skip a class.
Taking everything into account, it is a university, and every theme in
class is related to a previous theme. What I mean is that in most exact science
subjects, if a student misses a class, it is highly likely that he will not
understand the gist of the new theme because he skipped the previous class.
• Take
a seat in the front row.
Although the first row may seem daunting, it is the best place to fully immerse
yourself in the instructor and class. This place can also go a long way in
preventing common distractions like social media or chatting with classmates. I
always try to sit at the front.
•
Participate actively.
Active participation matters a lot because it helps a student study
effectively with full attention. Without active participation, students tend to
be distracted easily and fall asleep gradually, which is not good at all.
Moreover, students should ask professors questions if they don't understand
something during class.
• Fully
concentrate during class.
The student should fully concentrate during the classes and put his
electronic devices in his bag. This ensures that he or she is not distracted
and fully comprehends the theme. Because if the student does not understand the
theme, he or she will have to restudy it on his or her own, which will take
more time.
• Take
notes.
The ability to write down important information helps students focus on
what needs to be done without overloading their heads.
• Avoid
Procrastination.
One may say that procrastination is the usual thing in universities and
colleges; however, it is not. It is vitally important for students to avoid
procrastination to get the best grade. And if the student procrastinates, he or
she will have to cram for exams without sleeping all nights, which is a
terrible situation because a normal student needs to stay physically and
mentally healthy in order to perform well in exams, and the student should
sleep normally to do so. Moreover, students need to complete all assignments
and submit them on time.
By trying to do everything perfectly, students waste time that could be
devoted to more important things.
• Form
a study group.
It is not because students should form a group to help others and, with
all that, strengthen their knowledge. The most important aspect is that the
student will make new, close friends. And study groups should consist of
students who really want to study. When a student (who is working toward a GPA
of 4.5) becomes ill and is unable to understand something or attend class, his
or her close friends from the study group will explain the lesson that was
missed while the student was ill. This is mutually beneficial. Students trust
and rely on each other.
• Take
care of physical and mental health.
So, basically, every student has to exercise every day, eat healthy to produce more, and get more or sufficient sleep on time.
Students should remember that the highest GPA is the greatest goal to achieve, but it shouldn't be achieved at the expense of personal health.
This was my first blog. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I'm happy to share more about my student life and my knowledge about computer science and software engineering. Or just leave comments, I will be happy to read them :)
